Wolf behavior in the church: slanderous words (James 4:11); result: no hunger for Word, no growth (I Peter 2:1). “rash” words (Proverbs 12:18); daggers instead of balms. discord-sowing words (Proverbs 6:19b); corrupting (Ephesians 4:29); deep, long-lasting damage (Proverbs 18:8). gossipy, busybody words; greater tendency in women (I Tim. 5:13; Titus 2:3-5); make it your goal to mind your own business (I Thessalonians 4:9-12; II Thessalonians 3:11-15). Zion the true Church: radical = from the root up! (Mark 11:20); if you see bad fruit coming out of yourself; if you hear bad fruit coming out of someone else. no man to stand in the gap (Ezekiel 22:23-31); The Good Shepherd (John 10:11-13); shepherds of the precious (Acts 20:28-29). Zion! glorious resting place for God (Isaiah 11:1-10); who tremble at God’s Word (Isaiah 65:17-66:2).
